First Christian
First Christian Church Elizabethton has Sunday worship at 9:45 a.m. each Sunday. The congregation has begun a new sermon series, “One Day at a Time,” by Minister Michael Klaus.
Wednesday evening, there is Bible study at 6 p.m. for adults and classes for all ages.
Easter services at First Christian include a Mountain Sunrise Service at 8:30 a.m., followed by a light breakfast at 9 a.m. At 9:30 a.m., there will be a children-adult interactive egg hunt, with Resurrection Sunday worship services to follow at 10 a.m.
First Christian has a food pantry. Persons needing a food box are asked to call the church office at 542-5651 to make an appointment.
First Christian is located at 513 Hattie Avenue.

Roan Street Free Will
The Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church will have Brother Randy English as guest speaker at the 11 a.m. service Sunday. He will also preach at the 6 p.m. service.
The Wednesday service will feature guest speaker Shane Whittemore.
Everyone is invited to attend.

Doe River Baptist
Doe River Baptist Church will have its annual spring market Saturday, April 5, at the church. The day will feature some amazing finds, local vendors and small business owners.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Burbank Free Will
“He Is Risen,” a true depiction of the miracles, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, will be presented Sunday at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
The program will be presented again on April 15 at 7 p.m.
The public is invited to attend.
Burbank Free Will is located at 122 Burbank Road, Roan Mountain.

CCCMF Praise Gathering
The Fifth Sunday Praise Gathering, sponsored by the Carter County Christian Men’s Fellowship, will be held at the Lower Shell Creek Christian Church at 6 p.m. Sunday, March 30.
The worship service will feature musical presentations from Carter County Christian Church congregations as well as a joyous time of praise.
Steve Vance, planner of the event, invites everyone to attend.
Lower Shell Creek Christian is located at 8726 Highway 19E at Roan Mountain.

Grace Baptist
The Grace Baptist Church Sanctuary Choir will present “Calvary’s Lamb” at the 10:30 a.m. worship service Sunday, April 13.
On Easter Sunday, April 20, the public is invited to attend worship at 10:30 a.m. as well as a sunrise service at 7 a.m. at the Wilbur Dam Boat Ramp. Breakfast will be served following the service in the church fellowship hall.
Sunday school is at 9:15 a.m.
The public is invited to join the congregation in the celebration of the Risen Savior.

First United Methodist
Holy Week services at First United Methodist Church, Elizabethton, will include Palm Sunday service at 10 a.m. April 13.
The Maundy Thursday service at First United Methodist will be at 6 p.m. April 17, and will be a depiction of the Lord’s Supper along with communion, special music and worship.
A sunrise service will be held Sunday, April 20, at 7 a.m., followed by Easter Sunday worship at 10 a.m.
The Rev. Robert Countiss is pastor.

Stoney Creek Community
Churches in the Stoney Creek community will have a community revival April 21–25 with services at 7 o’clock each evening at Hunter First Baptist Church, 693 Highway 91.
The evangelist will be the Rev. Greg Graybeal, and the worship leader will be Loren Harris and a community choir made up of choir members from the participating churches.
Some 20-plus churches are participating in the revival.
The public is invited.
