Ethel Cole, age 90, of Elizabethton, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Signature Healthcare in Elizabethton. She was the daughter of the late James and Julia New Linville and was born on Nov. 9, 1934, in Hawkins County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, U.G. Cole, in 2018. She retired from North American Rayon Corporation.
Those left to cherish her many memories include two sons, Terry Cole and Randy Cole, both of Elizabethton; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2025, in the Garland Cemetery (Bulldog Hollow) with Pastor Mike Dickenson officiating. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday.
