Lennis was a dedicated member of Elk River Baptist Church and was a housewife. She was a wonderful caretaker of her parents when their health declined and will be remembered by her family and friends for her love of talking with people and her love for both her Lord and family.

A celebration of Lennis’s life will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Elk River Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Pearson officiating. Music will be provided by Lowell and Glenda Trivette. The family will receive friends between the hours of noon and 1 p.m. at the church prior to the service on Tuesday.
The graveside service will follow in the Whitehead Cemetery (Cable Hollow Road, Butler). Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of Ivy Hall Nursing Home and Erwin Healthcare Center, as well as J.R. Bunton, Tina Hodge, George and Velma Bunton, Steve and Missy Payne, and other friends, family and church family for the love and care shown to Lennis during her illness.
