Sally Holland Lafferty, 85, of Spring, Texas, formerly of Hampton, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025, in Cypress, Texas. She was born May 24, 1939, in Hampton to the late Samuel and Delia Carver Holland. She was a graduate of Hampton High School. She was a homemaker and nurse. Mrs. Lafferty had lived in Texas since 1977. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Lafferty; her son, John Gaylen Lafferty; and four siblings, Frank, Dewey, John and Tommy Holland.
Survivors include three sons, Sam Lafferty, Alton Lafferty, and Sean (Marla) Lafferty; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A graveside service was conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2025, in the Cochran-Carver Cemetery in Hampton. Pallbearers were selected from family and friends. Family and friends assembled at the cemetery at 1:50 p.m. Saturday.
