Robert Glenn Woodby, 69, of Johnson City, went home to be with his Savior and Lord on Friday, Feb. 28, 2025.
Glenn was born in Niceville, Fla., to Van and Rachel “Ray” Woodby. He also lived in South Carolina and Spain until his father retired from the Air Force and the family settled in Elizabethton, Tenn. Glenn was a dedicated and hardworking pharmacist at JCMCH for more than 30 years. He was a very thoughtful, caring and generous person. Glenn was a loving and devoted son, a great big brother and brother-in-law, and a wonderful uncle to his niece, Grace, whom he loved very much.
Glenn was preceded in death by his mother, Rachel. Those left to cherish his memory include his father, Van; his brother, Garren, and wife, Penny; and his niece, Grace.
A graveside service to honor and celebrate the life of Robert will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Dr. Greg Key officiating. Those wishing to be a part of this service are asked to meet at the cemetery no later than 12:50 p.m. on Tuesday.
