Carter County Educators Hall of Fame receives nominations for 2025

The Carter County Imagination Library Board will have its 17th annual Educators Hall of Fame Celebration to honor outstanding educators and their immeasurable and lasting contributions to both their students and the community.

The Educators Hall of Fame Celebration will be held Tuesday, April 15, at 6:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Elizabethton, when the four honorees will be announced—two deceased educators (one each from the city and county) and two retired living educators (one each from the city and county).

The public is invited to participate in the selection process by nominating teachers/educators who have touched their students’ lives in a special way and given their utmost to their profession.

To nominate a teacher for the Educators Hall of Fame, fill out the following nomination form (one candidate nomination per form) and return it to the Elizabethton/Carter County Public Library or mail it to Creola Miller, 2207 Eagle Drive, Elizabethton, TN 37643.

Nominations submitted in 2024 have been held and will be considered again this year.

Nominations must be received no later than Tuesday, April 1, 2025. If additional information is needed, email Creola Miller at creolamiller48@gmail.com.
