Letha Humphrey Dial, age 90, of Elizabethton, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Life Care Center of Elizabethton. Letha was born in Elizabethton to the late Lem and Myrtle Hendrix Humphrey. In addition to her parents, Letha was also preceded in death by a son, Ricky Gale Dial; six sisters, Grace Morrison, Marge Chambers, Bessie Scott, Christina Carter, Cleo Hess and Vada Blevins; and four brothers, Gordon Humphrey, Thurman Humphrey, Paul Humphrey and Leo Humphrey.

Letha retired from A.O. Smith Water Heaters. She will be remembered for her hard work ethic and as a superior homemaker.

Those left to cherish Letha’s memory include numerous nieces and nephews.

Letha will be laid to rest beside her beloved sister, Bessie, at Happy Valley Memorial Park at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2025. Honorary pallbearers will be Colby and Brycen Blevins and her special friend, Floyd. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. on Thursday.
