The Woman’s Club of Elizabethton is an international organization that promotes the local community. The Elizabethton chapter was begun in 1930 and sponsors several projects during the year for the betterment of the community.
Annually, the club sponsors a fall craft fair at the Elizabethton Rec Center. Money earned from renting booths to vendors provides local high school seniors with college scholarships.
One of the club’s latest projects is making and providing “Leave a Note” materials for residents of Hermitage and Hillview Health & Rehabilitation Centers. The notes enable visitors to write a message if residents are out of their rooms when they stop by.

The club made enough for all residents of the two nursing homes.
