The Shamrock Shake is back at McDonald’s locations in the Tri-Cities region! This year, every sip of the iconic seasonal treat will help support families in need, giving McDonald’s fans a delicious way to make a difference.

From February 10 to March 23, 25 cents of every Shamrock Shake sale in the Tri-Cities Region will be donated directly to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Appalachia. In 2024, McDonald’s customers purchased nearly 50,000 Shamrock Shakes and helped raise $12,666 for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Appalachia.

Across the United States, McDonald’s hopes to raise $5 million through Shamrock Shake donations, which could provide 50,000 overnight stays for families staying at RMHC programs.

RMHC chapters provide care, comfort and support to families, allowing them to heal together while their child receives medical care. Included in these efforts are the Ronald McDonald Houses which provide families a place to stay while their child receives care at a nearby medical facility.

And, because this moment is all about keeping families together, two beloved members of the McDonald’s family are reuniting for the first time in decades: Grimace and his vibrant, joyful, and generous uncle, Uncle O’Grimacey! Uncle O’Grimacey is traveling coast-to-coast, spreading Shamrock cheer with fans everywhere and celebrating RMHC and their mission to keep families together. To help support him, fans can don special Uncle O’Grimacey merchandise, including T-shirts, baseball caps and crewnecks. This exclusive swag is available for pre-sale now at goldenarchesunlimited.com, and in the spirit of this campaign, McDonald’s will make an additional donation to RMHC.
