Roan Street Free Will
The Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church will present Brother Johnny Chastain from North Carolina preaching at the 11 a.m. service Sunday.
Shawn Meadows will preach at the 6 p.m. service.
Everyone is invited to both services.
First Christian
First Christian will have worship Sunday at 9:45 a.m. The minister, Michael Klaus, has begun a new sermon series titled “Jesus Over Everything: The Book of Hebrews.”
On Wednesday nights, there will be Bible study for adults and classes for all ages at 6 p.m.
The singing group “Heritage” from Milligan University will be at First Christian on Sunday, Feb. 16, for a musical program.
First Christian has a food pantry. Persons needing a food box are asked to call the church office at 542-5651 to make an appointment.
The church is located at 513 Hattie Ave.
Trinity Methodist
Trinity Methodist Church of Elizabethton had its first official service Sunday at Hathaway-Percy Chapel, 101 East F St.
The church is a Global Methodist Congregation and is formed from members from the former Watauga Point UMC Church, former Hunter UMC, and several former members of First United Methodist Church.
Services will be from 11 a.m. to 12 noon Sunday.
The pastor is Leann “Lu” Miller.
Blue Springs Christian
All men are invited to the monthly men’s breakfast at 8:30 a.m. on the third Saturday of each month at Blue Springs Christian Church. The next breakfast will be Feb. 15. Also, the previously scheduled worship service by Kevin Kemp, which was canceled because of bad weather, has been rescheduled for March 2 at 6 p.m., with wings and fellowship to follow in the church fellowship hall. All are invited.
