The Elizabethton Water Resources Department has lifted the precautionary boil water notice issued for system areas affected by a recent water line break on Highway 19E Bypass near its intersection with Pete Hampton Drive.

Service has been restored, and necessary testing has confirmed the water is safe for consumption. This applies to all affected areas, including South Sycamore Street, Johnson Avenue, South Riverside Drive, and surrounding neighborhoods.
