Jack Roddy, director of missions for Watauga Baptist Association, announced this week that God’s Warehouse is now fully operational and ready to assist the community in the wake of Hurricane Helene.

Warehouse No. 1 is open at 1999 State Street in Elizabethton, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The focus is on various types of building materials, and the warehouse will distribute them. Volunteers, especially those with forklift experience, are needed to help get donated materials to Helene victims.

Warehouse No. 2 (The Sending Warehouse) is located at 201 Perry St., and its focus is on furniture, including mattresses, beds, recliners, sofas, end tables, chests of drawers, and lamps. Furniture pickups are by appointment only.
