Schedule of activities at the Elizabethton Senior Center, 428 East G Street, for the week of Monday, Jan. 27 – Friday, Jan. 31:
Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.; Friday: 8 a.m. – 12 noon.
The billiard room and fitness room are open and no appointments are necessary.
Monday: Just Keep Movin’ – Cardio – Toning – Strength Building – Group Led, 9 a.m.; Lunch – Breaded Chicken Tenders, 11 a.m.; Chair Yoga – Yoga Farm Instructor Shirley Gomillian, $3, 12:15 p.m.; Gentle Flow Yoga – Yoga Farm Instructor Cindy Brugnoletti, $3, 1:30 p.m.
Tuesday: Stay Strong – Stay Healthy – 8-week free course with UT Extension – Focus on strength building, flexibility and balance, 9-10 a.m.; Lunch – Cheeseburger and Potato Casserole, 11 a.m.; Line Dancing – Instructor Sharon Pilk, $3, 12-1 p.m.
Wednesday: Just Keep Movin’ – Cardio – Toning – Strength Building – Group Led, 9 a.m.; Lunch – Breaded Fish with Tartar Sauce, 11 a.m.; Chair Yoga – Yoga Farm Instructor Shirley Gomillian, $3, 12:15 p.m.; Gentle Flow Yoga – Yoga Farm Instructor Cindy Brugnoletti, $3, 1:30 p.m.
Thursday: Stay Strong – Stay Healthy – 8-week free course with UT Extension – Focus on strength building, flexibility and balance, 9-10 a.m.; Brain-Body-Boost – Mix of Heart, Body & Brain Exercises, 10 a.m.; Lunch – Minestrone Soup, 11 a.m.; Fundraising Committee Meeting – Coffee and Donuts, 12:30 p.m.
Friday: Just Keep Movin’ – Cardio – Toning – Strength Building – Group Led, 9 a.m.; Birthday Bingo – Cupcakes and Refreshments – Sponsored by Women’s Civic Club of Elizabethton, 10 a.m.; Lunch – Chicken Pot Pie, 11 a.m.
