Hopwood Christian

A Hymn Sing will be held February 2 at Hopwood Christian Church, Milligan College, beginning at 6 p.m.

The public is invited to attend and add their joyful voice as the Hopwood congregation enjoys an evening of hymns, stories, a quartet, and bluegrass melody.

An offering will be received for the Hopwood Christian Church building fund.

Following the program, light refreshments will be served.

 

First Christian

First Christian Church has worship at 9:45 a.m. Sunday. The current Sunday sermon series is on Evangelism by Minister Michael Klaus.

Bible study is on Wednesday evening at 6 o’clock. There are classes for adults and all ages.

On Sunday, Feb. 2, Missionary Tim Turner from Central Japan Christian Mission will give an update after morning worship.

First Christian has a food pantry. Persons needing a food box are asked to call the church office at 542-5651 to make an appointment.

First Christian is located at 513 Hattie Ave.

 

Valley Forge Free Will

A community revival will begin Sunday at Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church with services Sunday at 6 p.m. and Monday through Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

Guest speakers will include Rev. Phi Hoskins preaching Sunday evening; the Rev. Jeremy Dykes, Monday; the Rev. Sherrell Nave, Tuesday; and the Rev. David Dugger, Wednesday.

Special singing will be presented by Jeff Snyder, Chris and Tonia Hughes, Loren Harris, Joel Crisp, and the Valley Forge Praise Choir.

Nightly offerings will be received to help with storm relief.

The Rev. Randy Johnson, pastor, invites the public to attend the services.
