Patsy Peters Davis, 77, of Johnson City, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was a daughter of the late Estel Peters and Reba Nave Peters and was born on August 19, 1947. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Peters, and a sister, Peggy Peters Moore.
Patsy was a retired cake decorator having worked at Winn-Dixie and Walmart. She enjoyed working and was known for her dedication to her job. Her greatest joy was taking care of her family. She was a loving and devoted wife for 47 years and she cherished her son and grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her many memories include her husband, Lawrence Davis of the home; a son, Larry Davis (Sophia) of Elizabethton; and three grandchildren, Damion Short, Logan Davis and Reba Kate Davis.
A graveside service to honor Patsy’s life will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 5, in the Mausoleum of Peace at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Pastor Mark Newman officiating. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 1:50 p.m. Sunday. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Tonya Schnelle for the love and care given to Patsy during her illness.
