JOHNSON CITY – On Dec. 28, shortly after 2 p.m., officers with the Johnson City Police Department arrested Kristopher McCarty, 39, of Johnson City, on charges of aggravated domestic assault, false imprisonment, robbery, theft over $1,000, and violation of a protection order.

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at an apartment complex on Colony Park Drive. According to the investigation, McCarty entered a woman’s residence and assaulted her.

McCarty was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Detention Center.
