James “Jamie” Mathes, 52, of Corryton, Tenn., born December 5, 1972, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 25, 2024.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Buffat Heights Baptist Church, 2800 Mill Road, Knoxville, TN 37924, with a funeral service to follow at 4 p.m., officiated by Rev. Dave Thomas. The interment service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, January 3, at Happy Valley Memorial Park, 2708 Elizabethton Highway, Johnson City, TN 37601, officiated by Pastor Jason Hartley. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 1:45 p.m. Friday.
