Ann Pritchard has speaking role in ‘The Joy of Horses’ movie

Ann Pritchard, formerly of Elizabethton and the daughter of the late Rev. M. David Machen Sr. and Ola Mae Machen, currently has a part in “The Joy of Horses.”
In “The Joy of Horses,” Pritchard plays the role of Julie (Pie Lady) and is one of the associate publishers of the new movie. Pritchard said, “I am so proud and honored to be a part of this amazing family friendly movie, which is now streaming on several online streaming platforms including Amazon Prime and Tubi.”
The “Joy of Horses” is a heartwarming story of a young girl’s journey which intertwines with the spirit of these magnificent creatures. “The Joy of Horses” is a full-length movie about love, loss, and the healing power of animals, set against stunning landscapes.
The movie showcases the extraordinary connection between a girl and her horse, where the bond is unbreakable.
Pritchard formerly was an actor and makeup artist in “The Wataugans” when she lived in Elizabethton. She has also performed on stage, live stage theater, and several short films. She has also had parts in five full-length movies.
She presently lives in Minneapolis, Minn.
