Carter County Sheriff’s Department reports arrests

The following arrests have been reported by the Carter County Sheriff’s Office:
Failure to Appear Arrest
On Nov. 22, Rebecca D. Greene was arrested by Lt. Johnathan Blevins at the Butler Bridge for a Carter County warrant related to failure to appear. Greene was transported to the Carter County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond.
DUI Arrest
On Nov. 26, Deputy Brett Butler arrested Austin T. Wooten on Blevins Road in Johnson City for first-offense DUI. Wooten was found passed out in an idling vehicle. A field sobriety test and a breath sample confirmed impairment, with a BAC of .136.
Child Support Arrest
On Nov. 27, Deputy D. Bemiller arrested Derrick Eklund at a residence on Fairview Road on a Carter County attachment for child support. Eklund was held at the Carter County Detention Center on a $250 bond.
Failure to Appear Traffic Stop
On Nov. 27, Amanda Sue Oaks was arrested by Deputy Storm Scalf on Broad Street during a traffic stop for a failure to appear warrant. Oaks was transported to the Carter County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond.
Failure to Appear Warrant
On Nov. 27, Lt. Justin Johnson arrested Brittany L. Hale at a residence on Elizabethton Highway for an active Carter County failure to appear warrant. Hale was transported to the Carter County Detention Center.
Warrant Service Arrest
On Nov. 28, Deputy Heath Taylor arrested Jackie Allen Fisher at a residence on Milligan Highway for a Carter County failure to appear warrant. Fisher was transported to the Carter County Detention Center.
Domestic Violence Arrest
On Nov. 28, Joseph Haney was arrested by Deputy Heath Taylor at a residence on Archway Court for domestic violence and vandalism. Haney reportedly damaged property and threatened family members during an argument.
Contempt of Court Arrest
On Nov. 28, Deputy Donovan Bemiller arrested Misty Dawn Feathers on Tiger Creek Road for contempt of court. Feathers was transported to the Carter County Detention Center on a $1,000 bond.
Failure to Appear Arrest
On Nov. 28, Lt. Justin Johnson arrested Kimberly June Anderson at a residence on North Roan Street in Johnson City. Anderson was wanted on an active Carter County General Sessions Court warrant for failure to appear. She was transported to the Carter County Detention Center without incident.
Criminal Trespass and Resisting Arrest
On Nov. 29, Daniel Ray Allmon was arrested by Deputy Storm Scalf at a residence on Rosenbaum Private Drive for criminal trespass and resisting arrest after becoming aggressive toward the homeowner.
Failure to Appear Traffic Stop
On Nov. 29, Sgt. Tyler Holsclaw conducted a traffic stop on a blue Chevrolet Blazer on North Sycamore Street due to inoperable license plate lights. Jared Lynn Brock, a passenger in the vehicle, was arrested on an active Carter County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear. Brock was transported to the Carter County Detention Center.
Probation Violation Warrant Service
On Dec. 2, Sgt. April Price served Charles Ray Hoke with a General Sessions violation of probation warrant. Hoke was already in custody at the Carter County Detention Center at the time of service.
Public Intoxication
On Dec. 3, Jacquelyn E. Cabe was arrested by Deputy Storm Scalf on Greenlee Road in Johnson City for public intoxication. Cabe reportedly entered a home unannounced and exhibited signs of intoxication.
Vandalism Charge at Detention Center
On Dec. 3, Deputy Maverick Simerly charged inmate Jason Andrew Fair with vandalism ($1,001 to $2,499) after discovering damage to the foam padding in his detention cell. Surveillance footage showed Fair tearing pieces from the cell wall and placing them in the air vent. Digital evidence has been submitted as part of the case.
Domestic Violence Arrest
On Dec. 3, Lt. Justin Johnson responded to a Siam Road residence for a reported fight. Kelly Lee Rains was arrested for domestic violence after an altercation with Brian Mock. Mock reported that Rains became aggressive, pushed him, and struck him during an argument. Both men sustained minor injuries. Rains was transported to the Carter County Detention Center.
Drug-Related Warrants
On Dec. 4, Deputy Nicholas Gass arrested Joseph William Gleason at a residence on Highway 19E for active warrants related to the sale of methamphetamine and failure to appear. Gleason is being held without bond on one charge and a $2,500 bond on the other.
Violation of Probation
On Dec. 5, Sgt. Robert Scott arrested Joseph Daniel Miles during a traffic stop on Highway 91 for violation of probation. Miles was transported to the Carter County Detention Center.
