Danny Dale Tolley

Danny Dale Tolley, 70, Elizabethton, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at his residence.

A native of Carter County, he was the son of the late Sam and Flossie Miller Tolley.

Danny was a 1972 graduate of Hampton High School and was a retired shop manager. After his retirement he started a mowing business, Green Grass Lawn Care, which he enjoyed very much. He was a very hard worker.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Nave.

Danny loved fishing, watching John Wayne movies and spending time with his family and his faithful dog “Samson.” He was a member of Beck Mountain Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Sandra Caldwell Tolley; one daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Kenny Lowery; and two very special grandsons, Daniel Matheson and Nathan Moore.

It was his request to have a private burial service. Pastor Ronnie Campbell will be the minister. Active pallbearers will be Daniel Matheson, Nathan Moore, Kenny Lowery, Brent Powell, Ryan Allison and Kyle Birchfield.
