Boozy Creek Community Center, 1989 Shelleys Road, Bristol, Va., (276-466-0026) will hold a Fish and Chicken Feast on Saturday, Dec. 7, at 4 p.m. 

This meal includes traditional side dishes and a variety of desserts and drinks.

Music will be provided by Bill Copas and Steel Creek from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Cathy Baker will be giving away lots of door prizes at 4:45 p.m.

This will be the last chance to purchase tickets for the famous Golden Boy Henry rifle. Plans are to draw the winning ticket around 5 p.m. before the band starts.

Boozy Creek volunteers want to thank everyone for their enthusiastic interest in this special project.

Overhead costs to keep our mission active and vibrant is always challenging and your support is critical.

Our volunteers have worked very hard to make our meals special and exceptionally good.

When you go through the serving line you might want to tell the volunteers how much you appreciate what they have been doing since 2009 to make this somewhat remote community get-together a big event each month.
