Glenda Faye “Brenda” Rainbolt, 76, Unicoi, went home to be with her Lord, Thursday, November 21, 2024, at her residence.
A native of Unicoi County, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Hazel McKinney Roberts.
She was owner/operator of Rainbolt Floral Designs for several years. She was a member of Hampton Free Will Baptist Church where she was teacher of the Ladies Sunday School Class. She loved to travel.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dale Roberts and Kenneth Roberts.
Survivors include her husband of almost 57 years, Steve Rainbolt; one son, Robert Allen Rainbolt and wife Celeste Potter; one grandson, Cody Allen Rainbolt; one sister, Opal (Dale) Stevens; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her four-legged fury friend, “Precious.”
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 27, in the Evergreen Cemetery, Erwin, with the Rev. James Holmes officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family and church members. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday.
