Downtown Elizabethton celebrates Small Business Saturday

Join Main Street Elizabethton on Saturday, Nov. 30, to celebrate Small Business Saturday, a nationwide event highlighting the importance of supporting local businesses. From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., more than 30 downtown businesses will participate, offering the perfect opportunity to shop local, dine local, and enjoy the vibrant downtown community.

Since its creation by American Express in 2010, Small Business Saturday has become a cherished annual tradition that emphasizes the role of small businesses in driving the local economy. Downtown Elizabethton’s celebration invites attendees to explore unique shops, meet local artisans, and soak in the festive atmosphere created by small business owners.

What to Expect:

  • Complimentary Giveaways: Northeast Community Credit Union is providing shopping bags for participants while supplies last.
  • Live Caroling: Friends of Sycamore Shoals State Park will perform festive carols from 3-5 p.m.
  • Special Promotions & Discounts: Local shops and restaurants will offer in-store deals and promotions.
