Ballad Health Foundation’s Night of Hope and Miracles returns to Kingsport for an elegant evening that will support the future of healthcare in the Appalachian Highlands.

This year’s gala, featuring the energetic Rock and Roll Dueling Pianos, is set for Friday, Dec. 6, at 6 p.m. at the MeadowView Conference Resort and Convention Center in Kingsport. Attendees can enjoy holiday-themed cocktails, an auction and an array of delicious food. Proceeds from ticket sales, sponsorships and auction items will support equipment and programming for patient care at Niswonger Children’s Hospital.

“The annual Night of Hope and Miracles is our way to ring in the holidays while supporting some of our region’s tiniest and most vulnerable residents – our children,” said Jack Simpson, president of Ballad Health Foundation. “Our teams have been hard at work creating an exciting experience for guests, and I know we’re all counting down the days.”

Tickets can be purchased at onecau.se/nohm2024.

Individual tickets cost $150 each and include dinner, complete with cocktails and dessert. VIP tables can be reserved for $1,600 and include eight guests, as well as two bottles of wine and the host’s name listed in the gala program.

Guests can also participate in an auction, with a 2024 Yamaha WaveRunner Ex Sport as the highlighted auction item. The 3-seat personal watercraft, that can cruise in excess of 50 mph, has been donated by Boone Lake Marina.

“The Night of Hope and Miracles is always a night to remember, and the best part is, it’s about local kids,” Simpson said. “Every dollar raised from this event goes right back to the community, to the expanding children’s hospital that we are so fortunate to have in the Appalachian Highlands.”

The 40,000-square-foot vertical expansion of Niswonger Children’s Hospital is expected to be completed by late next year.

“There’s so much to look forward to for the future of healthcare in the Appalachian Highlands, and our hospital expansion is going to open so many doors for families in our region,” said Chris Jett, CEO of the Niswonger Children’s Network. “Ballad Health Foundation is constantly seeking opportunities and generating support so every child has access to the comprehensive, quality healthcare they deserve.

“We have a lot of exciting things on the horizon, and events like these serve as a reminder that the community is behind us 100%.”

The Niswonger Children’s Network Night of Hope and Miracles event is made possible through community sponsors, including Boone Lake Marina, Citi, Delta Dental, ETSU Health, First Bank & Trust, First Horizon Foundation, Hancock Daniel and PYA.
