First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church Elizabethton will have both an online and live worship Sunday, Nov. 24, at 11 a.m.
The pastor, the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt, will present the sermon “God’s Politics” based on 1 Samuel 8: 4-17 and Psalms 146.
Meditation is Wednesday at 7 p.m. and Adult Forum is at 9:30 a.m. Sunday in Martin Hall and on Zoom.

First Christian
First Christian Church Elizabethton has worship at 9:45 a.m. Sunday. There is also Bible study for adults, youth, and children on Wednesdays at 6 p.m.
There will be special Wednesday night services during the month of December.
First Chrisian, located at 513 Hattie Ave., also has a food pantry. Persons or families needing a food box should call the church office at 542-5651 to make an appointment.

New Liberty Free Will
Cooper Shanks will be the guest speaker Sunday during the 11 a.m. service at New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church.
The pastor, the Rev. Wesley Duncan, invites the public to attend and hear this young man.
New Liberty is located at 113 Peters Hollow Road near Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Department.
Lynn Valley Baptist
Lynn Valley Baptist Church, 1367 Broad St., will host a free community Thanksgiving Meal Saturday, Nov. 23, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for first responders and their families and any resident of Carter County.
Dine in or take-outs will be available.
The Rev. Tim Tapp is pastor.
Grace Baptist
A Thanksgiving service and fellowship will be held Sunday at Grace Baptist Church with School School at 9 a.m., worship service at 10:30 a.m. and a meal to follow.
There will be no evening service.
The Rev. Travis Tyler is pastor.
Grace Baptist is located at 114 Broad St.
First Baptist
First Baptist Church will host the 14th Annual Feast of Sharing on Thanksgiving Day. The free Thanksgiving meal is open to everyone in the community. The meal will be served from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The meal will feature baked ham, cooked apples, sweet potatoes, green beans, along with bread and homemade desserts.
Free carry-out meals are also available by 10 a.m. Deliveries are also available at no cost.
Reservations are encouraged for dine-in, carry-out or delivery by calling the church at 543-1931. If you call and get the answering machine, leave your name, phone number, number of meals you’d like and if requesting delivery, your address.
This year, the need is expected to be even greater due to the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene. The church predicts it will serve at least 1,500 meals.
Valley Forge Free Will
Pastor Appreciation Day will be observed Sunday at Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Wesley Duncan, pastor of New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church, preaching at the morning service at 10:45 a.m.
A Pastor Appreciation Fellowship will be held at 6 p.m. in The Forge instead of the regular evening service.
