High winds, rain temporarily close Carter County Disaster Recovery Center

FEMA’s Disaster Recovery Center in Elizabethton closed early Wednesday, Nov. 13, because of high winds and the threat of overnight showers. The recovery center is scheduled to reopen at 1 p.m. ET Thursday, Nov. 14, weather permitting.
The Carter County Disaster Recovery Center is located at 1749 Highway 19 East, Elizabethton, TN 37643. Regular days of operation are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Saturday; closed Sunday.
