Larry Wayne White III “Scrappy” of Hampton, Tenn., joined our Lord in Heaven on Thursday, October 31, 2024, after a difficult battle with end-stage liver disease.

He was born August 5, 1984 and was a graduate of Hampton High School. As a native of Carter County, he enjoyed hiking, fishing, and just being in nature. Scrappy was an amazing and creative artist. He had accepted the Lord as his savior and found peace in knowing he would one day walk through the Garden with our Creator.

Scrappy was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Larry White Sr. and Kay Wanda “Katie” Stout White; maternal grandfather, Willard Reynolds; maternal grandmother, Paulette Campbell White; and grandfather, Terry White.

There are many loved ones left to cherish his memories including his dad, Larry White Jr.; his mom, Geneva Reynolds Smith and stepdad Lester “Paul” Smith; his sister, Tina Vance and nephew Jovi Nave; his brother, Kenneth “Tommy” White; sister-in-law, Jessica White; nephew, Karmon White; and niece, Karlie White. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends are also left to treasure the memories each has made with Scrappy.
