Carter County Sheriff’s Office reports arrests

The following arrests were reported by the Carter County Sheriff’s Office:

  • Christy Leigh Grindstaff was arrested on Oct. 25 on an active failure to appear warrant out of Carter County Juvenile Court. She is being held on a $250 cash bond.
  • Kevin Jason Ferguson was taken into custody on Oct. 25 at Butler Bridge on a warrant for violation of probation out of Carter County. He was transported to the Carter County Detention Center without incident.
  • Johnathan D. Roberts and Camren Roberts were involved in a traffic stop on Oct. 26, leading to charges for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Both were transported to the Carter County Detention Center without further incident.
  • Richie J. Barnett Jr. was arrested on Oct. 27 for driving while revoked, after being stopped for a cracked windshield on Hwy. 19E. Barnett was transported to the Carter County Detention Center.
  • Cassidy R. Francisco was charged on Oct. 27 with violation of an order of protection after an incident on King Street. She was taken into custody at Dunkin’ Donuts in Elizabethton.
  • Dylan Richard Carl Greene was arrested on Oct. 27 for domestic assault following a domestic disturbance on Hwy. 19E.
  • Carry Lynn Worley was taken into custody on Oct. 28 at the Sullivan County Detention Center due to active warrants issued by the Carter County courts.
  • Terry Lee White was arrested on Oct. 28 for possession of a stolen vehicle after it was located at Roan Mountain Medical Center. He was transported to the Carter County Detention Center without incident.
  • Alissa Faith Hodge was arrested on Oct. 28 on a violation of probation warrant during a traffic stop on Toll Branch Road.
  • Micheal Joe Woodby was charged with public intoxication on Oct. 28 after reportedly causing a disturbance at a gas station in Hampton.
  • Ashley Lynn Cann was arrested on Oct. 29 at a Milligan Hwy. address on a warrant and was also involved in the safe return of a missing juvenile.
  • John L. Clemons was taken into custody on Oct. 29 for public intoxication after causing issues at the Sunshine Market in Biltmore.
  • Miguel Sanchez Jimenez was arrested on Oct. 29 for DUI after a private property accident on Cedar Grove Road, where he showed signs of intoxication.
  • Leanne Nichole Scalf was arrested on Oct. 30 for an active child support warrant.
  • Angela G. Bradley was charged with drug paraphernalia and public intoxication on Oct. 30 after being found behaving erratically at a property on Liberty Hollow Road.
  • Joshua Lynn Bowman was arrested on Oct. 30 for domestic assault following a dispute with his son at a residence on Sparks Road.
  • Joshua Dale Holtsclaw was taken into custody on Oct. 30 at Sinking Creek Church for violation of probation.
  • Buddy J. Blevins was arrested on Oct. 31 for possession of drug paraphernalia and Schedule III drugs after a welfare check in Hampton.
  • Shayla Lynn Keefer was taken into custody on Oct. 31 by Washington County deputies on a violation of probation warrant.
  • Shannon L. Sheets was taken into custody on Oct. 31 for violation of probation and transported to the Carter County Detention Center.
  • Dayton Paul Souder was arrested on Nov. 1 on charges including vehicular homicide by recklessness. He is being held on a $10,000 bond.
  • Kelly Mitchell Whittemore was charged with disorderly conduct on Nov. 1 after causing a disturbance on Nave Hollow Loop in Elizabethton.
  • Tyson E. Glover was arrested on Nov. 3 for failure to appear following a traffic stop in Elizabethton.
  • Branson James O’Quinn turned himself in on Nov. 3 on a violation of probation warrant.
  • Shannon Lovie Putman turned herself in on Nov. 3 on a violation of probation warrant.
