Mack Arthur Presnell Sr., 79, Johnson City, went to be with his Lord, Thursday, October 31, 2024, at his residence. He was born January 24, 1945 in Roan Mountain to the late John Henry and Bertha Beatrice Harrison Presnell.
Mr. Presnell was retired from Central Transport Trucking. He had served as a Pentecostal Minister for several years and was a member of the Potters Wheel Pentecostal Church. He was a very giving man. His hobby was classic cars.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Lloyd Presnell, Alden Presnell, Margaret Acres, Elwanda Carver, Hazel Berry, Mary Gregg, Richard Presnell, David Presnell and Steve Presnellm, and one daughter, Tabatha Rush.
Survivors include his children, Mack Arthur Presnell Jr. and wife Cheryl, Ashley Harding and husband Michael, D.J. Puckett and Brittany Puckett; nine grandchildren, Olivia, Payton, Katelyn, Josie, Logan, Kaycee, Jordan, Anthony and Aidan; several great-grandchildren; his brothers, Harold Presnell, Ancel Presnell and wife Essie, Gene Presnell, Michael Presnell and wife Barbara and Dean Presnell and wife Patsy; one sister, Vanessa Luttrell; and several nieces and nephews.
A Service to Celebrate the Life of Mack Presnell will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 3, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with his Brother Dean Presnell officiating. Interment will follow in the Markland Cemetery, Roan Mountain. Music will be by Michael Presnell. Active pallbearers will be Logan Harding, D.J. Puckett, Harold Presnell Jr., Robert Presnell, Anthony Perry, Chris Eleas, John Brikey, Chris Craddock and Michael Harding. Honorary pallbearers will be his many special friends. The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, prior to the service. Condolences may be sent to the family at our website, www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
