The Watauga Association of Genealogists will meet Tuesday, Nov. 5, at the Johnson City Public Library at 6:30 p.m.

The library is located at 100 W. Millard St., Johnson City.

Guest speaker for the meeting will be WAGS member Glenn Stoup, who will present a program on finding and understanding your ancestor’s military personnel documents. He will discuss sources for the document and contents of the most important ones.

Stroup is a retired Army officer who served 27 years, including assignments as a personnel management officer. He also served with members of the Air Force, Navy, and Marines.

The public is invited to attend not only in person but by Zoom, the link of which can be found on the first page of the WAGS website.
