JOHNSON CITY – On Oct. 21, officers with the Johnson City Police Department arrested Antonio Calderon, 27, of Johnson City, and charged him with aggravated burglary.

Officers responded to a report of a possible burglary in progress at a home in the 200 block of East Holston Avenue. Upon arrival, officers observed Calderon, accompanied by a dog, exiting the residence.

During the investigation, officers discovered that Calderon had an outstanding warrant from Johnson City. The homeowner informed police that Calderon did not have permission to be at the residence and intended to take the dog. Video footage provided by the homeowner showed Calderon entering the home through the garage door.

Calderon was transported to the Washington County Detention Center.
