Senior Bryson Rowland has been a key contributor to the Elizabethton Cyclone football program throughout his career. While he may not get many opportunities on offense, his defensive contributions have paid huge dividends for the Cyclones.

However, on Friday night in Church Hill, Rowland proved his versatility by excelling on both sides of the football. The senior caught a 20-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Rhett Slagle early in the second quarter and then capped off the half with a 44-yard pick-six, giving the Cyclones a 35-0 halftime lead.

Rowland also recorded a second reception for eight yards in the game.

For his efforts, Rowland has been named the Cyclone Player of the Week for the Volunteer game.
