Happy Valley dominates Cumberland Gap in 1-2A conference match

Happy Valley raced to a 26-0 halftime lead and secured a 1-2A conference victory, with junior Ron Paul Parker scoring a pair of touchdowns. Parker’s first score came on a 25-yard run, followed by an 18-yard interception return of a pass from Allen Brooks.
Mason Norman added a touchdown on a fumble return, and Artie Bahn took an interception 75 yards for another score. Parker completed his standout performance with a 62-yard touchdown run in the third quarter, marking his third score of the game.
Happy Valley’s defense held Cumberland Gap to just 140 yards of total offense, despite a 70-yard run from Italian exchange student Federico Alfe, who rushed for 73 yards. Alfe fell two yards short of the end zone before time expired.
