Miss Relay for Life Pageant
The Carter County Miss Relay for Life Pageant will be held Saturday, Oct. 26, at 11 a.m. at the Elizabethton Parks and Recreation Center, 300 W. Mill St.
The event is hosted by the Dancer’s Dream Performing Arts Academy.
The event is a competition in honor and dedication of those who have and are fighting cancer.
Holiday Missions Market
The Holiday Missions Market at Oak Street Baptist Church will be held Saturday, Nov. 2, at Oak Street Baptist Church. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
JC Symphony presents Life’s Journey
The Johnson City Symphony Orchestra presents Life’s Journey Saturday, Nov. 16, at 7:30 p.m. at the ETSU Martin Center for the Arts.
Join the JCSO musicians for an exciting event featuring world-renowned baritone, Michael Preacely and ETSU Opera Theatre. This will be a riveting musical event you won’t want to miss. Repertoire will include works by Copland, Bizet, Puccini, Strauss, and Tchaikovsky.
Veterans and service members receive a complimentary ticket to the event.

The Hampton Valley Forge Fire Department will host a Howdy Ghouls Hat Burning event at Station 2, 107 Clay Little Road, Sunday, Oct. 20, from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
