ETSU Health is continuing a tradition of caring for our community and honoring cancer patients during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Those who have survived or are still fighting breast cancer are invited to a free mini photo session to celebrate their strength and beauty.

The setup will include a pink photo drop and flowers from a local flower farm. Each participant will receive 5-10 high-resolution digital images from their session.

ETSU Health Surgery offers a team approach to breast cancer treatment that includes surgery, medical oncology and radiation oncology. As a surgery team, plastic surgeons Dr. Daniel Haynes and Dr. Jeremy Powers work alongside breast surgeon Dr. Natalie Scott to offer sentinel lymph node biopsies, reverse axillary mapping, lumpectomies with oncoplastic techniques, and several mastectomy options with immediate and delayed reconstruction.

“We’re here to make sure that patients live the best, the longest, and best quality of life that we can get for them,” Dr. Scott said.

As one of very few breast surgeons currently serving the Tri-Cities, Dr. Scott focuses her practice on surgical treatment of breast cancer and benign surgical diseases of the breast with an emphasis on compassionate care.
