The dignitaries visited Elizabethton High School, the Emergency Operations Center (EOC), and Spring Street in Hampton during a brief visit before heading to assess damage in Unicoi County.

County Mayor Patty Woodby escorted the visitors as they took time to speak with Director of Schools Richard VanHuss and Red Cross representatives at the high school.

In Hampton, the group walked along Spring Street, surveying the damage and observing the ongoing cleanup efforts by residents.
