Janet “Jan” Darlene Fritz, 69, Elizabethton, went to be with her Lord, Friday, September 22, 2024, at her residence. Jan was born December 2, 1954 in Johnson City to the late John and Pearl Hyder.

Jan was retired from Dawn Of Hope where she worked as a sitter. She was a member of Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church.

Along with her parents, Jan was preceded in death by her husband, William Fritz, as well as three sisters and two brothers.  

Survivors include her son, John Jamison (Kaitlynn); grandchildren, Elizabeth Jamison, Kayelyn, Breanna and Natalie Trew; and brother, Wayne Fleenor.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 25, at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Elizabethton from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, September 26, at 11 a.m. at Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church in Elizabethton with Father Dustin Collins officiating.
