Sharon Elaine Bradley, 76, Elizabethton, went home to be with her Lord and loved ones Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Johnson City Medical Center. She was born July 26, 1948. Sharon had lived her entire life in Carter County and for the past 18 years had lived on Park Avenue in Elizabethton.

Sharon retired from the Lyons Volunteer Blind Industries in January 2024. She was totally dedicated to her family. She had been a member of the Church of the Living Savior (non-denominational) for the last 27 years.

Sharon was a hard worker all her life. She loved dancing and she and her husband shared this passion for many years. She was a wonderful example to all those around her and she will be sorely missed.

She was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Huffman (1988); her brother, Melvin Ferrell (2013); her father, Robert Ferrell (1989); and her mother, Aretta “Crickett” Ferrell (1983).

Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Douglas Bradley; one daughter, Lisa Roberson; two sons, Johnny and Rusty Huffman; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Dale Perry; one brother, Charlie Ferrell and his wife Elondia; and another sister-in-law, Vickie Ferrell.  

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, September 21, at Church of the Living Savior on Steam Plant Road in Watauga for anyone wishing to attend.

Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, September  22, at the Emmert Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Eric Brown, assisted by Rev. Jerry Lyons. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Sunday to go in procession to the cemetery, will be Johnny Huffman, Rusty Huffman, Timmy Bowers, Shane Bowers, Charlie Ferrell, Pat Perry, Nate Perry and Lester Rutter. Honorary pallbearers will be Logan Trotter, Hunter Hudson, Greg Ferrell, Josh Carr, John Fleenor, Grady Hill, Mike McKinney, Curt Carter, Ben James and Larry Danner. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Sunday to go to the cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family and our website, www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
