Temporary EBT service outage scheduled this weekend

The Tennessee Department of Human Services is preparing for Electronics Benefit Transfer (EBT) Transfer vendor outage, which will result in a temporary service interruption. From Saturday, Sept. 21, at 11 p.m. until Sunday, Sept. 22, at 1 p.m. CDT, EBT cardholders will be unable to use their cards for food and cash purchases or withdrawals.

Additionally, the EBT Customer Service Helpline (888-997-9444) will offer limited support during this time.

The Tennessee Department of Health Services emphasized this is a temporary outage, and its team is committed to restoring services as quickly as possible. Customers are encouraged to plan ahead to minimize any inconveniences this may cause.
