Pat was retired and spent the last several years of her life with friends at Village East Apartments and family, faithfully supporting, encouraging, and caring for all those around her. Pat’s passing has left a hole in our hearts, and we will miss her terribly. She was ready to go home, and her family takes comfort in the peace she now has as she is reunited with those who have gone home before her. She was a member of Blue Springs Christian Church and, in more recent years, attended Happy Valley Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Kay Zimmerer.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Morgan “Pete” and Spicey Pate of Johnson City; one daughter and son-in-law, Jessyca (Newman) and Andrew Deesing of Holladay, Utah; four grandchildren, Chloe Gould, Avian Pate, Henry Deesing, and Liam Deesing; and two brothers and a sister-in-law, Gary and Sue Williams of Elizabethton, and Randy Darnell Williams of Charleston, West Virginia. Pat is also survived by several nieces and nephews, Jennifer Jolly, Michael Jolly, Todd Jolly, Carrie Jolly, Jamey Williams, Chad Williams, Misty Dawn Hunter, and Brandy Danielle.

To honor Pat’s wishes, there will be a private graveside service for family.

Memorial Funeral Chapel is serving the Guinn family.
