Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Charlotte June Harding, of Elizabethton, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. Charlotte, 79, passed away surrounded by those who love her most at Johnson City Medical Center. After a brief illness, our savior called her home. Her life has been and will continue to be an inspiration to everyone. Charlotte was born December 28th, 1944, to the late Marie and Sandford Peters.

Charlotte worked at the undergarment factory in Elizabethton, Tenn. Her talent for sewing and her creativity for making anything imaginable continues to be a light for her family (specifically the many custom Halloween costumes for her grandchildren). Charlotte not only had a talent for sewing, but for cooking, baking, and gardening. She loved hummingbirds and windchimes. Likewise, she was the New York Yankees biggest fan. Charlotte was the best mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and daughter anyone could be blessed with. May her memory and stories be comfort to those who knew her. She was of the Freewill Baptist faith. Now, she has been reunited with her loving husband, Bobby Harding, her parents, her daughter, Carol Ann Dean, and all the pets who have missed her. Every animal chose her to be their favorite.

Charlotte’s family, who look forward to being with her once again in Heaven, includes the following: her daughter, Christina Puckett, who loves her more than anything: her son-in-law, Ted Puckett; sister, Marketta Peters; brother-in-law, Roger Colbaugh; brothers, Dallas and Lloyd Gene Peters; sister-in-law, Ruth Peters; grandchildren, Hannah, Makensie, Brandy, Robert, Ric, Lacey, Cody and Michael; her great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Kaydence, Kya, Draven, Amelia, and Logan; her sons, Billy Harding and Ricky Harding; and special nephews and niece, Crystal and Craig Campbell and Dennis Peters.
