Long Hollow Baptist

Long Hollow Baptist Church, Valley Forge, will have homecoming Sunday, beginning with the 11 a.m. service. Special singing will be provided by Southern Harmony.

Following the morning service, lunch will be served.

Whitehead Hill Christian

Homecoming will be held Sunday, Sept. 15, at Whitehead Hill Bible Christian Church, Roan Mountain, following the morning service.

All are invited.

First Christian

First Christian Church, Elizabethton, has worship Sunday at 9:45 a.m. This Sunday, the congregation will begin a new church-wide series titled “Big Ideas.”

Sunday School lessons will correlate with the sermons in this series.

There is also Bible study for adults, youth, and children on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

First Christian has a food pantry. Persons needing a food box are asked to call the church office at 542-5651 to make an appointment.

The minister at First Christian is Michael Klaus.

All are invited to the services.

 

Sinking Creek

Sinking Creek Baptist Church will have homecoming Sunday. Morning worship is at 11 a.m.

The church will also host a Pray Without Ceasing Conference Sept. 27-29 with Manny and Barbara Mills. Those interested in attending can pre-register at sinkingcreek.org.

Roan Park

Roan Park Baptist Church will observe homecoming Sunday, Sept. 8.

Elizabethton First Baptist

Elizabethton First Baptist Church will have a Women’s Ministry Banquet “Falling In Love With Jesus” on Thursday, Sept. 19, at 6 p.m.

The guest speaker will be Rhonda Lacey.

The cost is $15.

Roan Street Free Will

Jonathan Sams will preach Sunday at Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church. He will preach at both the 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. worship services.

The pastor, the Rev. Donnie Harris, invites the public to attend.
