Update: Elizabethton Police find missing elderly man with medical condition

Thomas “Junior” Clark, 73, who was reported missing Friday morning, has been found, according to the Elizabethton Police Department. Clark, who has a medical condition that may impair his ability to find his way home, was last seen at his North Roan Street residence around 9:30 a.m. He was believed to have been in the Cherokee Park Drive area around 11 a.m.
Clark is described as a white male with a gray beard and mustache. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue T-shirt, and a black baseball-style University of Tennessee cap.
The Elizabethton Police Department had been actively searching for Clark, urging anyone who saw him to call 911. Authorities were also taking steps to issue a Silver Alert for his safe return.
