The ETSU Martin Center is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated 2025 Spring Broadway Season, presented by Bank of Tennessee. This third season of Broadway performances promises to captivate audiences with a lineup of four shows, each bringing its unique flair to the Appalachian Highlands.

The new season will kick off on January 27-28, with “Pretty Woman: The Musical,” based on one of Hollywood’s most beloved romantic stories of all time. This Broadway show springs to life with a creative team led by two-time Tony Award®-winning director and choreographer Jerry Mitchell (Hairspray, Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde). “Pretty Woman: The Musical” is sponsored by Food City.

Winner of eight 2019 Tony Awards® including Best Musical and the 2020 Grammy® Award for Best Musical Theater Album, “Hadestown” intertwines the myths of Orpheus and Eurydice in a hauntingly beautiful retelling set to a thrilling, modern score. This acclaimed new show from celebrated singer-songwriter Anaïs Mitchell and innovative director Rachel Chavkin (Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812) is a love story for today… and always. “Hadestown” will take the stage March 10-12, and is sponsored by Bravissima! Declared “one of the most remarkable shows in musical theater history” by the Washington Post, “Dear Evan Hansen” is the first musical to take a groundbreaking look – from the point of view of both the parents and young people – at our complex, interconnected, and social media-filled lives. “Dear Evan Hansen” will perform on April 15-17, and is sponsored by Frontier Health Foundation.

The New York Times Critics’ Pick “Come From Away,” takes you into the heart of the remarkable true story of 7,000 stranded passengers and the small town in Newfoundland that welcomed them in the wake of the September 11 attacks. This musical, sponsored by Tri-Cities Airport, is written by Tony® nominees Irene Sankoff and David Hein, directed by Tony-winning Best Director, Christopher Ashley and musical staging by Tony-nominee Kelly Devine, with the tour directed by Daniel Goldstein with musical staging by Richard J. Hinds, based on the original Broadway direction and choreography. “Come From Away” will complete the 2025 Spring Broadway Season on April 28-29.

“We are incredibly excited to bring this diverse and powerful lineup to the Martin Center,” said Jennifer Clements, executive director of the ETSU Martin Center. “Because of the generous support from our presenting sponsor Bank of Tennessee, media sponsor News 5 WCYB, show sponsors and loyal patrons, we are able to continue to deliver world-class entertainment to the Appalachian Highlands.”
