Francis Janet Nave, age 88, of Elizabethton, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at the Ivy Hall Nursing Home in Elizabethton.  Francis was born in Elizabethton on May 20, 1936, to the late Pline Nave and Ivalene Vaughn Nave.  In addition to her parents, Francis was also preceded in death by her brother Charles Wayne Nave.

 Francis was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.  She enjoyed watching television and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

 Those left to remember Francis include her sisters, Ruth Sanders, Patsy Slagle and Charlotte VanHuss; and her brother, James (Rebecca) Nave.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

 A visitation for family and friends will be conducted on Saturday, August 24, 2024, between the hours of 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway Percy Funeral and Cremation Services.

 A graveside service to celebrate the life of Francis Janet Nave will be conducted at 12:30 PM on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Vaughn Cemetery with Reverend Jason Hartley officiating. 

 The family would like to thank the staff and especially the nurses at Ivy Hall Nursing Home for the loving care given to Frannie as she was lovingly known by the staff and especially to Kristi Allen and Lisa Jones.
