Kevin Alexis, 62, of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital in Elizabethton. Kevin was born on March 19, 1962 in Baton Rouge, La., to Nila Holton Alexis of Louisiana and the late Jimmy Alexis.   

Kevin had such a big heart and would help anyone he could. He was an accomplished furniture upholsterer and loved upholstery projects of all kinds! He also enjoyed working on cars and boating on the lake.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Angele Alexis; his daughter, Katlyn Alexis; two brothers, Mac McKenzie and Yogi Alexis; and his nephew.

A celebration of Kevin’s life will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 17, in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel between the hours of 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday, prior to the service.
