The Elizabethton Chamber of Commerce Foundation announced the participation of the Elizabethton Farmers Market in National Farmers Market Week, a celebration highlighting the importance of farmers markets in providing access to fresh produce and goods. The event, organized by the Farmers Market Coalition and recognized by the United States Department of Agriculture, will take place from August 4 to August 10 and marks the 25th year of the celebration.

The community is invited to join the festivities on Tuesday, Aug. 6, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Elizabethton Farmers Market, held in Covered Bridge Park. The market offers a variety of 100% locally-sourced vegetables, fruit, meat, eggs, and more, providing healthy options for all.
