Watauga Assoc. of Genealogists will host program on ‘family search’

The Watauga Association of Genealogists (WAGS) will host a program on “Tips for Using FamilySearch” at its meeting Tuesday, Aug. 6, at 6:30 p.m.

The group will meet in the Grandview Room of the Grandview Christian Church, corner of Buffalo Street and University Parkway in Johnson City.

The presenter, Peggy Henderson, will discuss using FamilySearch to enhance the family tree and how to fix problems persons may have for adding new individuals, merging duplicates, correcting relationships, and other problems that may arise.

Mrs. Henderson has received extensive family history training from FamilySearch. She has served as director of the Johnson City Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Family Search center and has presented training workshops throughout the Tri-Cities region.

The public is invited.
