The Niswonger Performing Arts Center (NPAC) proudly announces its 20th anniversary season, promising an extraordinary array of performances. Located in Greeneville, NPAC has become synonymous with world-class entertainment, and our new season is no exception.
“We are thrilled to celebrate this milestone season with a lineup that showcases the incredible talent and variety that NPAC has to offer,” said Vicki Hudson, Executive Director of NPAC. “From iconic music acts to captivating theatrical productions and family-friendly entertainment, there is truly something for everyone.”
The 20th anniversary season kicks off in August and continues through May 2025 with performances by renowned artists and groups including:
EXILE – Legendary American band known for their country hits “Kiss You All Over,” “Woke Up In Love,” “Give Me One More Chance,” and many more!
ARRIVAL FROM SWEDEN – The Music of ABBA – Internationally acclaimed ABBA tribute band performing favorites like “Dancing Queen,” ”Mamma Mia,” ”SOS,” and “The Winner Takes It All.”
STRYPER – Renowned for their Christian hard-rock distinctive brand of “heavenly metal,” Stryper is celebrating 40 years of extraordinary crossover success and venerable endurance.
WHEEL OF FORTUNE LIVE! – An interactive stage adaptation of the iconic game show. Spin It To Win It!
ARTIMUS PYLE BAND – Featuring original Lynyrd Skynyrd drummer Artimus Pyle performing Lynyrd Skynyrd hits like “Free Bird,” “Sweet Home Alabama,” “Simple Man,” and more!
NEWSBOYS – Contemporary Christian music favorites performing hits like “We Believe,” “He Reigns,” “Born Again,” and “God’s Not Dead.”
THE ISAACS – A special performance celebrating a Tribute to the Grand Ole Opry.
SARA EVANS – Enjoy all the hits from this award-winning country music star including “No Place That Far,” “Born to Fly,” and more.
GRAND FUNK RAILROAD – Classic rock legends known for hits like “We’re An American Band,” I’m Your Captain/Closer to Home,” “Locomotion,” and many more.
TRACY LAWRENCE – Country music icon and CMA & ACM award-winner performing hits like “Sticks and Stones,” “Time Marches On,” and “Texas Tornado.”
MENOPAUSE THE MUSICAL 2: Cruising through ‘The Change’® – Hilarious sequel to the smash-hit original.
GLADYS KNIGHT – Known as the “Empress of Soul,” Gladys Knight was the grand opening performer of NPAC in January 2005.
GIRL NAMED TOM CHRISTMAS – The only group to ever win “The Voice,” these three siblings unlock one harmony to perform some of your favorite Christmas tunes.
A CHRISTMAS CAROL – Experience the timeless magic of a Christmas classic. This story of bravery and youth will be a show the entire family will enjoy.
THE NUTCRACKER – Experience the timeless magic of a Christmas classic. This story of bravery and youth will be a show the entire family will enjoy.
RICKY SKAGGS & KENTUCKY THUNDER – Enjoy music from this Grammy® Award-winning bluegrass and country music star.
THE FRONTMEN – The newest country supergroup, featuring lead singers, Richie McDonald (formerly of Lonestar), Tim Rushlow (formerly of Little Texas), and Larry Stewart of Restless Heart performing hits of all three bands, including “The Bluest Eyes in Texas,” “Amazed,” “God Blessed Texas,” and many more.

LIGHTWIRE THEATER’S MOON MOUSE – Experience an electroluminescent puppetry adventure.
THREE DOG NIGHT – Chart-topping classic rock band performing hits like “Mama Told Me (Not To Come),” “Joy to the World,” “Black and White,” and “One.”
VELOCITY IRISH DANCE – An Irish dance extravaganza, Velocity is the next generation in Irish tap.
THE DRIFTERS AND CORNELL GUNTER’S COASTERS – Legends of doo-wop and R&B perform timeless classics like “Charlie Brown,” “Yakety Yak,” and “Under the Boardwalk.”
JOURNEY FROM THE HEART – A premier tribute band honoring the masterful melodies of TWO iconic rock legends…Journey and Heart!
GENE WATSON – Country music legend performing his No. 1 country singles “Farewell Party,” “Fourteen Carat Mind,” “Love in the Hot Afternoon,” and more.
THE MAN IN BLACK – A Tribute to Johnny Cash – With his striking resemblance, spot on mannerisms and baritone voice, Shawn Barker embodies the character and spirit of Johnny Cash.
THE BROTHERS DOOBIE – A Doobie Brothers Experience – Celebrating the music of one of rock and roll’s greatest ‘70s acts, the Doobie Brothers, with amazing musicianship and spot on harmonies.
COLIN MOCHRIE & BRAD SHERWOOD: Asking for Trouble – Improv comedy masters from the hit show, Whose Line Is It Anyway.
BROTHERS OF THE HEART– Returning to NPAC after a sold-out show in 2024, enjoy an evening of brotherly harmonies.
“With such a diverse lineup, we look forward to welcoming audiences from near and far to enjoy unforgettable performances and create lasting memories,” said Executive Director Vicki Hudson.
Tickets for the entire 2024-2025 Season are on sale now. NPAC offers a variety of ticketing options including individual tickets, season ticket packages, a pick 5 or more bundle which includes a 10% discount, and 20% group discount for groups of 20 or more.
Three performances will be offered as part of NPAC’s Free Community Concert Series. Disney’s Encanto: Sing-Along Film Concert is a family-friendly sing-along and interactive experience. Enjoy a special performance from the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra featuring Music from the Movies, and finishing out the free series is Illusionist Rick Thomas: Mansion of Dreams performing some of the most intriguing, innovative, and mind-blowing grand illusions in the world.
Arts education is important to us! NPAC offers an Arts Education Series each school year for students in the region. This season’s education series includes four performances: The Magic School Bus, A Christmas Carol, Professor Wow’s Fun-Believable Science Show, and Lightwire Theater’s Moon Mouse: A Space Odyssey. Registration for the NPAC Arts Education Series begins August 1.
