Johnson City man arrested on drug and trespassing charges

JOHNSON CITY – Officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Jeremy Jones, 42, of Johnson City, on charges of possession of methamphetamine, criminal trespassing, and unlawful drug paraphernalia.
The arrest occurred after officers observed a suspicious vehicle behind the former K-Mart at 1923 South Roan St., a building that is posted as a no-trespassing site. During their investigation, officers discovered narcotics in Jones’ possession and drug paraphernalia inside his vehicle.
Jones was transported to the Washington County Detention Center.
